Phinney store expansion complete

There are now a large community table and many chairs available for your seating pleasure. We're happy to be completely, and officially, expanded.

Thanks for bearing with us through all of the dust and varying inconveniences. We're proud of the space and think it was worth it, and we hope you think so too.

PS. More space means more art! Come to check out Julia Harrison's "Sweet Travel" show and enjoy new space.

Labor of love...

...macaroon making that is.
It seems to me that people are fascinated about these little delicate cookies.

Mystery bowling lanes....

We receive many compliments on our counter top (and bench, too) made out of salvaged bowling lanes we are not sure where came from....so we started some research.

Prior to the opening in 2004, we bought 4 lanes from Second Use in Georgetown. They were among the last of their inventory acquired a few years prior, from a closed bowling alley in Federal Way. No one seems to know which alley that was.

Does anyone know?

Phinney remodel update

It is hard to believe that we used to bake everything in this tiny space before moving the kitchen to Ballard shop.

Coming along fast...next week a large community table & 10 extra chairs will be added at Phinney store.

Have you tried Grace Harbor Farms yogurt?

It has been a while since we posted last time....time flies!

During last couple of months, we introduced new and exciting menu and by far our granola has been top of everyone's favorite.....try with Grace Harbor Farms yogurt, it is incredibly addicting and makes it perfect summer snack! Honey flavor yogurt just came out this week.
